Chintz Revival

This week’s Spoonflower design challenge was Chintz Revival. My entry is my own personal spin on a floral chintz-inspired pattern. Usually I’ve done most of my pattern work in Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Fresco using the vector brushes. Vectors are how I learned how to make patterns. Or make digital art in general. It’s easier to recolor them and you can resize them without losing detail. But recently I’ve been branching out and making more patterns with raster elements, like this one. It helps that I’ve recently discovered Adobe Photoshop’s option to select the prominent colors with recoloring. Makes things so much easier.
This pattern is available in my Spoonflower shop on fabric as well as wallpaper. The version I entered in the design challenge is this blue color, but I also have it available in other colors, including pink, red, yellow, and purple.
